Ok ~ so I was in a swap simialar to this last year and really enjoyed it but have not seen anything like it since so here it is.

Don't we all love having pen pals but that initial letter can be a pain in the butt to write as we try to make it personal (not seeming like a form letter) and figure out what our new pen pal would like to know about. Plus there always seems to be pen pal swaps going on so we need to get a bit creative to have something new and fresh.

You will compose a "letter" of 30 questions that you would like your partners/penpals to answer. You won't write anything about yourself in this first letter, just these questions you'd like to have answered.

Examples, can be:

"Do you have children?" "Where did you grow up?" "What's your favourite animal?" "What is your favorite thing to cook?" "How did you come to Swap-Bot for swapping?"

Once you have your 30 questions put it in the envies and mail off to your partners. You will be mailing out 2 "30 Questions" and will receive 2 "30 questions" in return. Therefore if you get a reply from everyone you have the possiblity to have 4 new friends / pen pals. Once the "30 questions" part is over (you have sent yours and recieved replys) you and your new pen pals can chose whether or not to keep cooresponding or leave it at the 30 questions. I do suggest that when you return your "answers" that you possibly include questions if you wish to continue building the bond with your new pen pals. By doing this you will both gain knowledge about one another and will have some wonderful conversations. You can go ahead and begin working on your list of questions ~ even questions that you may be able to find the answers on profiles is OK because quite honestly I keep all the letters that I receive but I may not check their profiles everytime I go to write a letter.

We are all adults but please remember that we all have different levels of comfort in revealing things about our personal lives. Me ~ I am an open book pretty much and rarely chose not to answer a question. But please try to keep your questions friendly and clean. If there is something you want to ask ~ go ahead but please know that the persons responding may not feel comfortable answering and may skip that question. (if you get a question that you are uncomfortable answering please when you repsond just list the question and say that you are not comfortable answering it).

Swapping Requirements: This is open to Newbies with a FILLED profile. All others must have a rating of 4.8 in order to join. Please know that I do reserve the right to ban anyone that does not meet the requirements or that I fill may not be right for this swap.
