Description:

In this swap we will have one partner and send them one altered thrift store item. We find something with "potential" at the thrift store and judging by our partners profile, we turn it into something they would enjoy!

Examples:

~A vintage pillowcase...fabric used to make an apron, tea wallet, shopping bag...

~A bunch of dominoes... turned into an altered art collage. Buttons....into fridge magnets, or jewelry.

~A vintage candy tin, turned into ......a pretty tea caddy for your purse. I'm not a tea drinker, I don't know why I keep mentioning tea ;)

~Gameboard...... into cover for a notebook, The classic....tin can into pencil holder or fill it with wax for a new candle.

~Vintage sweater...turned into flower pins, coin purse.... cell phone cozy.

The possibilities are limitless! :)

Okay, so one partner and one repurposed gift....with your partner's profile in mind.

hmmm... I like the idea of this swap but, I hesitate to join because I am not sure I could satisfy a partner whose "craftish" likes are very different than my abilities... I mean... I can sew, do a little paper crafting, but jewelry? magnets? tin things? ... no confidence that I could do justice.

You don't have to do it all, just one thing. Zero in on your own specialty :)
