Hi All, This swap is a twist on our other photo swaps. I've noticed that since I've been taking lots of pictures (almost 1600 since Christmas), I've been seeing things a little differently. Lately I've been noticing shadows and reflections and thought we should give it a whirl. For this swap you will make 3 postcards from photos you take. 4" X 6" is a good standard size for postcards. I find that the easiest way to make postcards is to use double-sided tape (I can't live without my little red duck) to stick the photo to cardstock cut to size. I know that there are sticky-backed postcard blanks out there too. Now the fun part. Each photo postcard must be either a shadow cast by an object (try not to include the object, just the shadow) or a reflection. For the reflection you can include the reflected item too. For instance, trees reflected on water can show both the trees and the reflection. Write a note on your postcard explaining your picture...why..where...what, slap on some postage, and drop it in the mail. One postcard to each of 3 partners. Of course this is International! It is also fun to post pictures here..I'd love to see them! Red Tape* I am very serious about ratings! (Serious, but not crazy!) In order to participate you must have at least a 4.7 rating. Newbies are welcome, but please email me to let me know you are serious and fill out your profile. It's not fair to do the work and not get anything in return. It's also really nice to note here when you send and receive your postcards. Most of all...Have Fun! |
