Description:

For this swap you will go to your favorite thrift store and find an interesting glass framed picture or framed photograph. Nothing smaller than 5x7.

You will then remove the picture and alter it in any creative way you'd like.

Use embellishments, add things, paint over things. This is an open creative art swap, there aren't any guidelines as to how far you can go with your picutre, as long as the original picture is used.

Then you will also alter the frame. You can repaint it, stress it, decopage' it, bead it or mirror it to name a few ideas.

You must have a rating of 4.89 to take part in this swap. No late sends, no flaked swaps at all. I reserve the right to ban members not following this swaps guidelines.

PLEASE wrap well with bubble wrap or such for shipping.

Wouldn't it be fun if we took a "before" picture to email to our send partner? Then s/he can see exactly what was done and how it started. :)

I found a great framed picture...kind of a shadow box but it is not glassed and wasn't originally. Will that work?

I found an awesome picture at my favorite store yesterday; the frame is absolutely beautiful; it might be hard to alter it! But I already have some cool ideas for the picture. What a fun swap this is already! :)

Oh I like the idea of taking a before picture to enclose in the package.... I'm going to do that for my partner, and misusmisu22-- If I read the swap correctly it will be okay to send a framed photograph, at least I hope so, cause after I alter my picture I will not be able to put glass on the top of it........urrrrrrggggghhhh if not accepted! Oh what a fun swap I love this.....I
