I made the switch about a year ago and am addicted! I love seeing the different materials, styles, and shapes people use to make mama cloths. In this swap you will have two partners. You will make two mama cloths for each partner for a total of four pads altogether. These can be an AIO (all in one) or a pocket cloth--sender's choice. If you make a pocket pad, please include at least two inserts. The mama cloths must have NEVER been used. If you recycle fabric for the soaker layers (ie: flannel shirts, cotton sheets, etc.) that is acceptable but the fabric MUST be washed first! The mama cloths can be machine stitched or hand sewn-whichever you are more comfortable with. You can zig zag or serge the edges or turn them...again whatever you are more comfortable doing. Please include a note about what kind of fabric you used (ie: flannel, hemp, cotton, etc.) and whether you consider the mama cloth a pantiliner, pad, overnight, etc. The pads do not have to be identical. The pads can be different styles: one with wings and one without; one AIO and one pocket with inserts; etc. If you make a winged pad, please put a snap, button, velcro or something to that effect on the wing to secure them.
