Description: | |
For this swap each person will send one postcard to two people. The postcard needs to be handmade of fabric. There are lots of web sites with directions to make fabric or quilted postcards; but basically it is a 4 x 6 piece of embellished, decorated, dyed, or otherwise prettied fabric quilted onto a stabilizer with a back attached (usually muslin) that can be written on. The writing can be done on the computer with computer fabric or using a permanent marker. A fabric postcard can be sent naked or in an envelope. If you choose to send it naked it will probably need to be hand canceled and will need first class postage because it is heavier than a regular postcard. The designs on the postcards are sender's choice; but please make something nice that you would like to receive. Newbies are welcome with a profile. I will angel but if you're not going to make the postcard please don't sign up. I will ban suspicious people. Please let me know if the directions are not clear. |
