Brand New Friendship Book Swap

Hi I have seen a few FB swap on here and would like to join in but even after reading back through loads of swaps I am still not totally sure what they are. Please can you give me more detailed description. Thanks.

A friendship book is a small booklet made up of little squares of paper for swappers & penfriends to write their details in and then they are passed around between penfriends & swappers. The books are usually stappled together and have pretty covers and coloured paper to write on. The details that you put in are your postal or email address & any details about the people you are looking to correspond with. For eg: some people list that they are looking for new penpals or new swappers. These books are then passed around between penpals and swappers and your welcome to contact anyone who has listed their contact details in the friendship books.

So am I right if i am thinking we are not swapping the FBs around but just making blank book for our swap partners. Should the inside pages be totally blamk.

Hi, the book can be as many pages as you wish. I usually make mine 3 or 4 pages otherwise they get too bulky. You need to fill out in the book who you have made the friendship book for. Most people write " Friendship Book For" inside the cover and the person's name and address and then on the back cover "please return when full" then they are passed between swappers and penpals. The friendship books that you receive from your swap partner you can put your details into and swap in an established FB swap :) The pages should be blank or patterned so that people can easily read the contact details of other pals and swappers.

You can make the friendship books for who ever you wish :) They can be for yourself, a swap partner or a penpal/swapper of your choice.
