QTA=Quick TurnAround

I just made my very first button fairy and I'm enchanted! I want more! And since it's no fun to just make for yourself I need a quick fix for the new addiction and thought I'd do a QTA Button fairy swap.

Guidelines are simple:

-Make ONE Button fairy that gives off the mood of halloween for your partner.

-Minimum parts are a head, wings, tail, and a hanger.

Please don't just thread a few buttons on a head and be done, give it some detail....add glitter or ribbons, little beads, layers, whatever. I won't specify WHAT, just embellish a little (or a lot). Typical halloween colors are orange, black and white, often bright green and purple, but of course other colors may just as well fit in depending on your idea!

Will you make a cute or a scary fairy? Is it a ghost? Vampire? Witch? Bat? A ghoul or a zombie? A pumpkin fairy? Is there a lot of blood? Or a heap of bones? There's tons of possibilities!

Guidelines:

-4.8 rating, no recent ones and only limited 3's.
-Newbies with well filled out profiles and at least 3 crafted swaps that are rated.

The deadline is soon since this is a QTA, so please don't sign up if you don't have the time to get it done. I'm planning to do many more button fairy swaps, so you can still get in on others when you have more time.

Any questions, please post below or PM me as I rarely get to my email.

PS: The swap image is NOT my work, I borrowed the image from flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/44964905@N00/3574153946/

Can you clarify the minimum parts for me, head, wing, tail, hanger. Does wig mean using a cut out or creating out of yarn or what? Your button fairy is so cute. Is there a place where we can see more? Thanks, Tracy

Tracy, first off, that is NOT my button fairy!!! I borrowed the picture from flickr.
There are tons of ways to add wings...flowers, handmade wings, angel wings, butterflies, crocheted... the possibilities are endless. If you go to flickr.com and do a search for "button fairy", you'll get tons of results. You can narrow it down from there
