Description:

I joined a wonderful new group here called Newfangled Zentangles and am thrilled! Zentangle is all about relaxation, black on white doodles that repeat a pattern. If you have not seen Zentangle then check it out here. The swap graphic reminds me of some awesome zentangle- like "doodles".

The idea for the swap will be to trace your hand on a sheet of white or light colored cardstock and zentangle away until your heart is content. Cut the hand out and mail to your partner. 1 zentangle for 1 partner. Pretty simple swap. Who couldn't use an extra hand, right? :-)

No recent no-sends. No flakers. I will angel if needed but since we are all adults that should NOT be a problem!

Email me for questions. I am not an officer or founder of the Newfangled Zentangle group but it is a great group of gals. Please check it out. This swap was created to get the craft of zentangle and the group on the swap-bot map :-)

I finished mine this afternoon and want to do another!!!! Now I am thinking of how to send it to my partner. HMMMMM????? Any Ideas?

I have a large manilla envie to send mine in....am excited!!

I made mine on meduim cardboard and will sandwich it between some squares I cut out from a cereal box, to stabilise the whole thing... Do we mount it on anything? Like after we cut it out glue it on black or other coloured paper? Or does it have to stay the cut out, so the recipient can do something with it>

I should say: I will be sending mine in a manilla envie as well, but sandwiched between the cardboard..

AWESOME swap, girlie! I am definitely in! :)

Feel free to mount if you like. It is not necessary but I will let you be the judge on how you like it best.

I save empty cereal boxes to send odd shaped flat things in. Open both ends of the box and side. Unfold and fold back up inside out for an instant flat mailer.
