Your scarf can be made of any fabric, you don't have to know how to knit, although a knitted scarf will also be neat. It can be hand died, embellished, embroidered, painted on... As long as it is made by you. Make it nice, something that you would like to wear.

This swap is international. Every one is welcome, but if you have bad rating and no sends, I will ban you. Newbies are welcome.

Can you make a USA one? Just curious...

ditto on the usa

I live in New Zealand, so no, but you are welcome to host one if you like.

My scarf will be crocheted so I hope my partner doesn't mind!

danit 09/18/2009 #

Sounds great habubabu.

If someone out there does make a US version of this be sure to let me know. I am very interested, but short on funds and limiting my number of international swaps. Please, please, please make a US version someone.

This is such a short timeframe to make something for someone. Could you extend the due date? I would like to make something in colors that are specific to that person so would not want to start until partners are assigned.

evieroz 09/18/2009 #

Yes, someone please make one for USA. Mine will be knitted.

Hand-Made Scarf (USA only) - is started, thanks for the great swap idea danit.

beaglemom I changed the send date to the end of October. I hope every one is happy with that. Here in NZ it is Spring but most of you should gate your scarfs for the beginning of winter.

I couldn't help, but smile when I saw which partner I was assigned. I already knitted a scarf in the colours my partner wanted, so I decided to send that, instead of spending time on knitting a new one. ;)
