Description:

I love polka dots and gravitate to ANYTHING dotty! If you are the same then this swap is for you! So pick out, pack up and send 6 polka-dotted items, one of which should be handmade, to one partner. Check out profiles to ensure you get a good match for extra hearts. Items can range from ribbon, stationery, fabric, socks, keyring. neddlecase …to whatever! So c’mon, get creative! In order to keep it fair, swappers should plan to spend in the region of $20 or £12. The best rule of thumb is to send what you would like to receive. Here are the boring bits… NO FLAKERS! We should agree to a few simple rules - if you have no intention of completing then don’t tick the box. You must have good ratings or contact me and have a good argument.

Hi, I love polka dots and would love to join but I can't really knit or crochet or "make" anything. Would something like an ATC be okay? I would of course make sure that most of the "value" was in the other items. Thank you!

Hello Faerlyfaerie, Yes that would be fine as long as you stack up the value on the other items. Alternatively you could purchase something handmade that suits your partner. It's up to you but check out your swap partner's profile to make sure you do the best you can. Best wishes, Kate

Hello mikeyoki, Yes, you can join but please don't flake! We all have to be trustworthy or this stuff just doesn't work. So...promise? Then join up! Kate

Greetings Everyone! It must be POLKA DOT season in England! I have just returned from the the huge and beautiful creative stitching show in London and found some stunning polka dot items. I'm thinking maybe one polka dot swap isn't enough! Those of you who are watching sign up for fun and dots! Love Kate x

Hi Kate, just to clarify..ur statement of "...region of $20 or £12" meaning the value currency of my country for 20 or i must spend up to £12 equivalent of value of my country currency for those items?

katiewoo 10/23/2009 #

Hello Yinlim, Thanks for your question...basically the equivalent of $20 US is what you should aim for so please find stuff that your partner would like to that value. Is that okay? Love Kate x
