Description:

Inspired by the HG group swap hosted by @SugarVixen

Imagine coming home from school or work and a large, brightly decorated package is sitting on your doorstep. You bring the package inside, carefully open it, and gently pull out another amazingly decorated box, Its sparkly, fun, and its weight feels like there are probably lots of treasures waiting inside. You gently set the box down and slowly open it. Inside there is so much brightly colored, fun, sparkly goodness you actually gasp and your boyfriend asks you what the problem is! This should be your reaction when you receive your Harajuku Girl Dream Box!

Get an empty shoe box (a larger one like that adult size sneakers or heels would come in, or any other substantial size box or container that you would like to use for this. I’ve actually seen little single drawers at Wal*mart & target that would probably be so rad to use too) Decorate the CRAP out of the box with inspiring images, stickers, kawaii goodness, little toys, i dont care, just use your imagination! Make it something that you (and your partner more importantly) would be so proud to display in your room!

Ok, so even more importantly is what is on the inside of the box! We will be filling our partners boxes with GOBS of kawaii, Harajuku inspired goodies! These are items that your partner will be able to use and just about enjoy every day! The possibilities to what you could potentially send are endless! Just fill the box, and please be sure to gift wrap the items to make it super special. Also, please do not duplicate items on the checklist (for example: 3 random accessories. Please do not send 3 pins or 3 keychains). As far as sending clothing, I would like to recommend making sure that what you pick out has stretch to it. I would like everyone to list what size they normally take so your partner can pick something nice out for you accordingly! If you are a good seamstress and would like to make more then one of your items, feel free to do so! Just make sure everything you are placing in your box is something that you would love to receive!

*1 article of clothing (t-shirt, tutu skirt, tank top, tunic/mini dress..)

*2 hair accessories (bows, clips, headbands, bobbles...)

*1 clothing accessory (lacey gloves, a scarf, thigh high stockings with bows, knee-high socks, a kitty ear hat, stockings…)

*2 pieces of jewelry

*3 random accessories (sunglasses, phone charms, key chains, pins…)

*1 tote bag, reusable shopping bag, pencil pouch or makeup bag

*2 handmade items, one of these should be a decoden item

*3 glamifying items (fake eyelashes, make-up rhinestones, a fancy blush brush, bright eye shadows, make-up grade glitter, nail polish…)

*3 kawaii items (stickers, stationary, the usual. Anything is fair game)

You should be spending around 27£ / 30EUR on your partner for this swap.

Here are my sizes for clothing:

T-shirt: ladies size large, I prefer dark colours because they are slimming! :) Socks: eur size 39-40 I have rather big hands, so gloves should be stretchy and bracelets should have a clasp

I love neon colors especially hot pink and green, I don't like golden jewelry and I prefer flashy and kitschy earrings and necklaces over subtle ones! :)

I'm so looking forward to this swap! yay!

Yay :)

My size for clothing is medium. I don't mind any colours, but I don't like plain black (but plain black isn't very harajuku style is it?! lol) Socks size 37-38. I have thin wrists so bracelets should be adjustable or about a cm or 2 smaller than usual womens size.

I don't like gold jewellery either and I love any style of jewellery :D Especially dangly earrings. Only thing about jewellery is, if it's metal, (especially earrings) please make sure its nickel-free or hypo-allergenic or silver plated :)

woop, this is gonna be so fun!!!
