Description: | |
You will send one amigurumi item to 1 partner. SENDERS CHOICE, but read partners profile and if they hate pink, don't sent something pink. The item must follow these guidelines: It can be crocheted or knitted. You must make it out of variegated yarn, any color. It must be of the stuffed variety - nothing flat. Must be 3 - 5 inches in length and at least 3 inches wide. If you want to make a hanger for it, that's okay, just make sure the hanger is of nice quality, like ribbon. The stuffing must be from new poly fil. This is an international swap. Make an item you would like to receive as a gift. Nothing half finished. This is for people that know how to knit or crochet. People do not appreciate "firsts" that someone has made unless it is well made. My first swap - coin purse - I got an unfinished purse. The partner wrote that it was her first sewing venture, like that made it okay that is was lousy. I put a lot of effort into my swaps and I expect the same in return. For those of you that like to think in terms of monetary value, figure on creating an item that would be worth about $5 - $8 in the retail world. This doesn't mean you have to spend that much $ in materials, but if you have been crafting for a while, you can usually look at something and have an idea of what it would cost in a store. Please do not send religious inspired items unless your partner specifically states they like them. Please be sensitive to allergies(smoke, pets). No envie's. If this item can fit in a regular business envelope, then the item is not appropriate for this swap. It should be puffy enough so that it will fit comfortably in a 6 x 9 envelope. Postage should be manageable, this is supposed to be a relatively light item. Don't forget to include a note. I have gotten items with not a written word anywhere in the package. And write down what swap it is and your name. Please rate once you receive your item, and do so as fairly as you can. Please do not rate based on whether or not you like the item, but instead that it meets requirements. It is appreciated that you rate once you received your swap, and to do so as fairly as you can. Everyone relies on these ratings to join other swaps and groups. And personally, I think it's incredibly rude to not acknowledge your package. Who may join this swap: Newbies are welcome with a well-filled out profile, and with at least two "type 2" swaps and one "type 3" swap, rated 5. All others must have a minimum overall rating of a 4.9 - with no 1's or 3's within the last 3 months - no exceptions. This is for serious swappers only. If you do not think you can deliver your swap items in a timely fashion, please do not join this swap (ie, don’t flake). I like fairly quick turns - This swap covers 3 weekends. That should be enough time. It is expected that you will mark "sent" after you send your item. Sometimes there are extenuating circumstances, but other than those rare instances, you should not be late. Everyone is busy and most partners manage to get their swaps out on time. If it's late, don't be upset by your rating. Flakers will be reported in appropriate forums, and not permitted to join in future swaps I host. I reserve the right to remove any swapper that I believe will not deliver swapped items, at my discretion. Please contact me via private message with any questions or comment below. Contact me if you don’t receive your package in a reasonable amount of time, I will try to help and resolve the situation and will angel if necessary. I know some of this seems harsh, but I have gotten so many swaps that look like they were thrown together in about 30 seconds. This should be fun. It gives you a chance to get something new and show off your talents. |
