Description:

This swap is for one Christmas-themed wall hanging. The wall hanging can be of any medium: quilted, crocheted, mixed media collage, cross-stitch etc. It can of any Christmas related theme ranging from winter wonderland to traditional red and green and everything in between. The only specific requirements are that the piece be at least 18 inches tall and 12 inches wide, and that it includes a "hanger" or other way to display it on the wall. The measurements are not including the hanger. So if you make a quilted stocking and you add a ribbon hanger, the measurements are for the stocking, not including the hanger.

This item should be something nice and sturdy enough to be used for Christmas present as well as Christmases still to come. Please do not just make something on a piece of paper and call it a hanging, as there is no way that would be reusable from year to year. Please send something as nice as you'd like to receive.

Since this is a somewhat high commitment swap, you must have a rating of at least 4.9 with no 1s or 3s in the past 6 months. No newbies (sorry); you must have at least 5 high-commitment package swaps under your belt by the time the swap starts.

The hanging does not need to be profile specific. This is sender's choice, as long as it is Christmas themed. Please avoid making the hanging overly religious so that as many people as want to can join. Simple one word phrases such as " joy", "peace", "rejoice", etc. would be allowable, but please do not make it scriptural or evangelical in message due to possible conflicts in your recipient's beliefs. That being said, Christmas is by its very nature a Christian holiday, so if you are absolutely offended by the idea of receiving an item with Angels, Stars of Bethlehem, nativity scenes etc. as part of its imagery, this may not be the best swap for you.

PM me with any questions. Happy Swapping!

I received a question about whether this can be a wreath. I would say yes as long as it uses a wreath form of at least 18 inches. However, they may get expensive to mail, even within the confines of North America.

I absolutely adore anything with nativities. You dont have to do that of course-- I just wont be offended if you do.

Looks like it's just the three of us. I hope you all enjoy the swap!
