This swap is for a new or gently used knitting book. I love buying knitting books and often only am inspired by a few patterns in the book - but maybe YOU will love the patterns and get ideas for something new. In this swap you will send ONE knitting book from your collection (hardcover or soft cover, but NOT one of those free booklets from the store!) to ONE swap partner. Books can be sent media mail, which takes a little longer to send, but is much cheaper postage-wise. :) Since this should be a book from your collection there will only be a week in between swap starting date and sending date. Book is Sender's Choice.

I have a variety of knitting books I am self taught, smile... I have a variety of books so I hope my swap partner can help give me a idea of what they are interested in so I can send a helpful book. I like sock knitting and beanie's or scarves and would like to make a shawl but not to difficult because I don't know how to read charts yet :D
I am so looking forward to this swap...

I am so excited about this swap as well!!! I am building my knitting and crocheting book collection!! :o)

some of the books on my want list are: One Skein knitting in the sun Amigurumi world aware knits pints and purls luxury one skein wonders designer one skein wonders knitted toys son of stitch n bitch

knitting with balls - my son likes to knit, but only at home, and I'd love him to have this book as a reference, so he can see that knitting IS COOL!! lol

and I know it's not knitting.. but I would LOVE to have POP goes crochet!!! I love Vickie Howell's style.. have lots of her books

of course this is just for ideas... so you can get an idea of the kinds of things I like the best.

I love Son of A Stitch n Bitch! ^.^ I myself am one of those "no sweaters" knitting types, but outside of that I like to knit dangerously. >)
