Description:

I hosted this swap once before (in Feb. 2008!), and decided to host it once more!

One of my favorite crafts is creating interesting envelopes out of random old book pages.

So, for this swap you will send one (1) letter to two (2) partners, but instead of using a regular envelope you'll be using one you made yourself.

You will have TWO partners and will send TWO letters.

Feel free to use any sort of paper you want for the envelope, as long as it isn't a single solid color. My favorite is using pages from children's books, old magazines, scrapbook paper, sheet music, etc.

The letter itself can be written on anything you'd like: A card, notebook paper, stationary, a napkin, etc. The subject of the letter is also up to you. The focus of this is to send a cool, unique envelope.

Please be sure your envelope is secure and won't fall apart in the mail. A piece of tape covering the flap in the back would more than likely be enough if the sides are glued securely, but use your own discretion.

Extra Info:

* Newbies allowed only with a full profile.
* Rated swappers must have a 4.3 or higher.
* International swappers are welcome.
* I reserve the right to ban questionable swappers.

If you type "Milkwood Designs" into a search engine, it will take you to a wonderful place for free templates of all sort of things from envelopes to cards & more.

Also, you if you gently take apart any envelope, you can use it as a template. You might want to trace it onto sturdier card stock or even quilter's plastic so you can see through it.

Calendar pages make good envelopes too :)
