Private: Yarn vs. flying pig

Wow there is more yarn then I thought laughs you are in for a treat :-) Looking so much forward to when you are recieving it :-)

Happy happy! I have got the skeleton body (ok, well, a very FAT skeleton - what I mean is, the basic shape of the piggie) done and drying. Got to add the hooves and fill in the haunches a bit more, then put her pink mulberry paper hide on. And after that the fun part of going to town with the decorations. You DID want a polka dot bikini, and feather wings, right? (rubs hands gleefully)

Her hide is on and nicely dried leathery. I'm happy with how her face came out, with little cheerful piggy eyes and a bit of a smirk.

It's going to have a 'shabby vintage' sort of feel, like a lot of my pieces - I'm having fun with this, because it's something I never would've thought to make on my own, but I love how it's turning out!

She's done - and looking adorable! The bikini just didn't seem to suit her, but wait till you see her other adornments that I chose instead... I'll get her in the mail this week. Your address is still valid, right?

Up, up and away! For such a lightweight little porker, she was expensive - cost 20 bucks to send express, but regular would've been 17 anyhow, and I wanted you to get her in time. I was so cross - the postoffice worker managed to break her necklace while she was wrapping Miss Porcina in bubble wrap - so I'll make you a new one and send it in its own little envie later!
