Quick and easy way for Newbies or anyone to get a few ratings. For this swap you will have 5 partners since its only 1 stamp to send. So you will get 5 ratings!!!! Great for anyone starting out or trying to improve ratings or just like to get lots of mail :)

You will send to each partner something you can fit in a regular size letter envelope. Can be stickers, postcard, paper, stamps, anything you like as long as it only costs 1 stamp to send. Senders choice but please look at profiles so you dont send something they hate.

You should get a 5 rating if you send before the due date. You can use your own stash but has to be clean!!

Open to anyone with a FULL profile and if you have 1's or 3's in the last 3 months and you want to use this swap to improve your ratings e-mail me please, no e-mail you will be banned. You must also have been on swap-bot during the week partners are assigned so i know your still active with swap-bot.

Easy ratings swap have fun with it :)

Hi - I'm new to Swap-bot :) I'm just wondering what a "full" profile consists of?

freckleface 11/10/2009 #

Likes, Dislikes, little about yourself, a wishlist would be great. That kinda thing. Have a look at other members to get a feel for a full profile.

Thank you thank you thank you!

ManifestedDreams 11/29/2009 #

I'm just starting with swapping on swap-bot so I don't have any ratings, would I still be able to participate? This seems like a fun and easy way to get established here. Thanks!

Littleclouds 12/ 1/2009 #

mandylifeboats 12/ 1/2009 #

I am looking forward to my first swap. Can someone tell me how to send a PM? I found it addressed in the forum but the answer said to go to a profile and under the name would be a contact me via swap bot link... I haven't seen any link, nor was I able to post my question on the forum itself (so apologies for posting here...) thanks in advance!

Nekozet 12/ 3/2009 #

CollageCafe04: I couldn't PM when I first joined, either, but in another couple of days, I was able to. I was able to find the person's email on their webpage/blog and email them, directly, though. You might try that.

Bound 12/ 3/2009 #

The only problem I can see it states one stamp but if international partner it will be more then one stamp no matter what. So what happens then?

CollageCafe04 12/ 3/2009 #

Thanks Nekozet!

@Bound

I would guess "one stamp" means one stamp of the denomination needed to send first class to where ever the envelope is going. Inside the US, that's a 44 cent stamp. From US to Canada or it's a 75 cent stamp, to Mexico 79 cents. From the US to any other international location, it's a 98 cent stamp. So even if someone gets five international partners (which is highly unlikely), the most they will spend on postage is less than $5.

freckleface 12/ 4/2009 #

Yes one stamp means that it just costs the same amount as a regular letter nothing more, now nothing is stopping you from sending more if you like just that you do not have too. If you are new with no swaps you can still join as long as you have a full profile.

MysticalMagic 12/ 5/2009 #

It is highly likely that you will get 5 x international partners if like me you live outside of the USA. I'm from Australia and in all the international swaps I've had all of my partners have been from the USA so if you live outside of the USA expect to have 5 partners all from other countries or in my experience partners ALL from the USA. It's $2.10 to post a regular letter from Australia to the USA so for Australians this swap will probably cost $10.50 :) Unless you send Card Only and then you can post for $1.25, only for another couple of weeks though and then the price goes back up :(

Littleclouds 12/ 5/2009 #

so this swap started today, are we of supposed to of received an email with our partners for this swap or do we choose them ourselves? Just making sure I've not done anything wrong !

flowerimpressions 12/ 5/2009 #

Hi Littleclouds ,we will probably get our partners names tomorrow . the sign up goes through today! MysticalMagic , thanks for that info on postage . I live in the US , I just sent some envies to Israel and Italy with regular stamps ?? hope they get it? guess I will know soon? :O(

Anakalia4950 12/ 5/2009 #

Thanks a bunch for the postage information. Little clouds, tomorrow, you will select, "view partners I send to" up on the top right. I had no idea how to do any of this either, with my first swap. The host will click the "assign partners" button they get, and a computer randomly selects everyones partners.

Littleclouds 12/ 7/2009 #

ahhhh OMG I'm so glad I checked back because I kept thinking I will get an email telling me who my 5 were. EEK could of been a disaster but I'm on it now. Thanks peeps.

I just wanted to let my partners know, I will be a few days late on getting mine out. They will be going out on Thursday. That is the soonest that I am going to be able to get to the post office. I am sorry. They are all ready to go though, just have to get them down to the PO. :)

JavaJunkie 12/13/2009 #

I couldn't get to the Post Office before it closed yesterday so I am sending mine out tomorrow, I AM SO SORRY!!!
