Who doesnt like to receive a present for their birthday? Well here is your chance to send and receive a gift! I am a January baby and I thought it would be nice to celebrate my b-day this year with a swap. I have added the December babies to this one too since the holiday and shipping during that time can be rough, and it never hurts to add more birthday cheer even if it is a little belated! The swap guide-lines: item 1:This is a profile/etsy wishlist surprise swap. We are to pick one item from our partner's profile or wishlist, or make an item inspired by our partner's profile or wishlist, since we all know looking around etsy can be quite inspiring. Please only send items you yourself would like to receive. The minimum is $10 before shipping, and that goes for cost of item or if you hand make it, its worth. item 2:A yummy treat to celebrate your partner's special day(make sure to check with your partner about likes/dislikes and any possible allergies) item 3:a card, can be hand made or store bought, pretty or witty, silly or serious or however you deem fun. the card is sender's choice, so show off a little! :-) now the icky rules: since this is an indepth swap i am going to limit this to people with 4.8 or higher ratings and no no-sends in the last 3 months. I also am limiting this to people with 7 or more rated through the mail swaps, i will check before partners are assigned. If you feel you have been rated unfairly PM me and i will make a decision on a case by case basis. I just dont want anyone to be flaked upon for a birthday present. if for any reason you are unable to fulfill your swapping duties, because life happens sometimes, PM me and your swap partner and we will work something out. I will be able to angel only one birthday swap, and am always looking for angeling volunteers. but i just hope no one will have to angel for anyone. last but not least.....Have lots of fun!

Hello, PaintedGreene. Thanks for putting together this fun birthday swap. I'm a January 6th, baby. I have a couple of questions that I'm not clear about what you meant by when you said: " I also am limiting this to people with 7 or more through the mail swaps, i will check before partners are assigned." Are you only limiting 7 or more already sent and received past or present swaps? Is that what you meant? My second question is: We can send 1 gift from either the etsy site or what our swap partner likes in their profile? Last question: Is there a certain about of $$ we have to spend for our swap partner's gift? Ciao

solarts-I did mean 7 past succesful well rated swaps, that way i have an idea of your swapping.
what i meant by wishlist/profile is really a pick one or the other or become inspired by their wishlist/profile and make them an item. it is one gift, but you can send more if you would like. but the swap requirment is really just one or the other. The $$ minimum i had forgotten to add lol. $10 spent or $10 worth minimum. I'll go ahead and clear all that up. Thank you :-) p.s. I am Jan. 5th

I fixed it so it says "wishlist or profile", I set the minimum to $10, and it is 7 or more rated through the mail swaps. solarts-thank you for helping me clarify what i meant lol! Its always good to have a second set of eyes.

oh and if anyone has an issue with the deadlines let me know, i know and i can adjust them, i understand the hollidays can be trying.
