It's about that time of year where hearts and cupids adorn the store shelves and overpriced chocolates are purchased at the last minute and even convenient stores can't keep "fresh" flowers in stock! For this swap you need to be medicated (or at least know someone who is)! Or else you won't have anything to stuff full of heart themed goodies for your partner. Even if you aren't 'officially' medicated a nice sized Tylenol bottle or some other over the counter medicine bottle comparable to a prescription sized bottle will work. Simply find one of your EMPTY pill bottles and fill it full of heart themed surprises for your partner (make sure to wash it out first). Also, be creative and alter the outside of the bottle to fit the hearts theme. Use any medium you would like. Just make sure to send a quality piece of work. Don't just slap a sticker on it and call it done. Embellish, paint, collage...just so long as it would look neat sitting at someone's crafting station. Ideas of what to include: Every single thing doesn't have to be a heart, but think along the lines of romance. Be creative, though. Not every heart has to be red or pink or full of lace. Sizes vary at different pharmacies, but try to stay away from smaller sample sized bottles. If that is all that is available, send at least 3 to compensate for the size difference. I think we will all be surprised at how many great goodies we can fit in these tiny treasure boxes! Guidelines
Any questions? Just ask! Disclaimer: I recognize that the guidelines for the swaps I host have gotten strict, but it is in the interest of all the participants because we all deserve to receive quality work and to have our quality work rated in a timely manner. If anyone sees the guidelines as too strict and unfair, then the swaps I host probably aren't for you. As Always: Happy Creating! |
