Description:

The idea behind this swap:

ONE WEEK WITHOUT COMPLAINTS, CRITICISM, SARCASM AND GOOSSIP.

I think it would be nice to start 2010 that way, don’t you?

The challenge is to take the first step to a more intentional complaint-free living and to look for a way to stick to everyday positive communication with yourself and with other people. By paying attention to negative speech we will limit it down - so join in and let’s make this a global change in the world. If 10 people join, we will make up for more than 2 free-of-complaints months. Now, how good is that?!

The basic swap:

Send ONE POSTCARD to one swap-partner:

= with an image depicting challenge, accomplishment/goal or beauty (sender’s choice; store-bought or selfmade)

= naked (no envelope) & stamped

= written.

Write about your experience or/and about what you believe you have accomplished or what you hope to change by taking this challenge – anything related to this topic.

Take the challenge as soon as you join the swap (or latest the day the partners are assigned: Monday, Jan 18). After your (first) week of focusing on negative speech write the postcard and send it (deadline: Monday, Jan 25).

A few more details:

1.) This is an international swap. 2.) Participants should have an average rate of 4,98. 3.) I will angel this swap.
4.) If you have any questions, please write a comment or PM me.

Day one accomplished. :) I did gripe... after only an hour!! But caught myself! :)

Oh my gosh... this is the best swap ever! Could you get one running every week?

Merimax 01/13/2010 #

Well... I could try, but who would join?! I am starting all over every single morning and not getting through the day without switching my watch from one wrist to another a couple of times...!

Ha ha! Me, too! Hard, but very good. gets me thinking more about what I say before the words run out to play! (most of the time!!!) :) Three of my non-swap-bot friends have joined me in this endeavor as well. It was a great idea for accountability!
