Creating inchies is fun for everyone! This inchie swap is beginner and not-so-beginner friendly, so if you have never made an inchie or if you have made several hundered, please join in on the fun! In this swap, you will have 2 partners and create them each 4 inchies. 2 partners x 4 inchies = 8 total inchies Please don't forget to include your swap-bot user name and the name of the swap somewhere in the package so your partner knows who to rate! Theme: The theme for this swap is open since it is to help those new to inchies gain more experience and get feedback. Also, since it is an open theme, you don't have to wait for partners to be assigned before you start working on them. Medium: The medium for your inchie is up to you: sturdy card stock, grunge board, fabric, chip board, polymer clay, watercolor paper or whatever strikes your fancy. Empty cereal boxes can be used as inchie blanks, too and it is a very environment friendly idea. Not to mention they are very sturdy, so consider backing your inchie with a cereal box blank if it seems flimsy. What is an inchie? An inchie is a 1" x 1" piece of mini artwork created by you. The only requirements are the measurements and that it be sturdy. They can be painted, sewn, collaged, needle felted or any combination of techniques. They should be creative. Card stock with a sticker is NOT a quality inchie. Guidlelines:
