We will each complete 30 entries in a journal to send to the other. Journal prompts will be written in the comments section.

1) Write about one of your favorite toys from your childhood. What about it appealed to you?

2) Make a list of everything that you are happy about today.

3) Think of a color. Write it down. Now write a list of things you love that are that color. Write this list in the color you chose.

4) Write a favorite quote or poem on a found piece of paper. Glue this in your journal.

5) Make a journal entry of your choice and cut it into a simple puzzle. Put this in an envelope and attach it to the journal for your partner to put together upon receiving it.

6) Make a ten-list soundtrack for describe your personality. Try to include a little description by each song.

7) Write about the best birthday you’ve had so far.

8) Write about the weather as it is right now. Now write about the weather you wish there was right now.

9) Write about the favorite people in your life.

10) Make two “pick-me-up” envelopes for your partner. These could be a cute picture, an inspirational quote, or an encouraging statement. Attach these to your journal.

11) Write about your favorite comfort food.

12) Write a “mad-lib”. Your partner will copy the mad-lib and send the completed copy back to you. The send-back can be done by email or snail mail.

1-Fill a journal page with details about a simple, common item found in your home.

2-Write about a memory from your childhood you don’t recall but have been told about.

3-What are four things you wish you could do but can't?

4-Write an entry about the life of a person you see often but don’t know as if you were that person.

5-Glue a photo of a place you want to be right now but aren’t. Why do you want to be there?

6-Make one page look like a weekly calendar. Fill in each day with what you did that day.

7-What is one unhealthy/bad habit you can’t seem to break?

8-Keep the journal next to your bed for one week. Write down any dreams you can recall.

9-Doodle three pictures that can be colored.

10-List the items found in your purse. Cross out the ones that you haven't used/needed but haven't taken out.

11-What would you scream while standing on a mountaintop? Write it in all CAPS. :o)

12-Fill two pages with top ten lists. Include ten things you couldn’t live without, people you can’t imagine not knowing, places you could spend hours exploring, places you hope to visit but haven’t, reasons you can’t live without art, and any other list you’d like to include.

List 10 things you can see from where you're sitting.

Write down lyrics from a song that inspires you, moves you, or creates a strong emotion.

Find a very serious photograph of yourself and write a funny caption for it.

List 10 books you loved and 1 book you hated.

Glue in an artifact from your day. This could be a business card from a place you visited, a ticket from a movie you saw, a stamp from an envelope, etc.

Make a list of things you sense right now for each of your five senses: Touch, taste, sight, smell, sound.
