Description:

Since the tourist brochure swap is so popular it seems we are all interested in learning about other areas, so I decided to try something new. How about we send 2 partner a menu from a local restaurant that is unique to your area. Something that your area has that no place else has. Please no chain restaurants. Feel free to send more than 1 place if you happen to live in a place that is well known for food. (I am in Florida, and all we do is eat here, LOL) So, 2 partners, 1 menu. Easy enough? Again, this is an inexpensive swap so newbies are welcome with no unexplained 1's. I will angel if necessary. Making International as I'd love to see different foods from other countries. Maybe if one finds something that looks interesting, the sender could send a recipe?? :)

Can the menu be handmade? Well, I mean, can I print it? I'm from Italy and I've never seen restaurants menu that you can take away, except from Chinese/Japanese/Indian ones, but... those ain't so much tipycal of my Country, LOL And I work in a restaurant but we don't have printed menus because it changes every day and we just write it down in a piece of paper and read it to the guests, so I would be glad to make it by myself and maybe add some pictures and descriptions...

This is perfect for me- I own a restaurant so getting a menu is no problem!

By "unique to your area", do you just mean that it's not a chain (and thus unique), or do you mean the food is representative of your area? Like Virou says, most of the take-out menus in my drawer at work are for ethnic restaurants...

By unique to your area, I mean NOT an Outback Steak house or Red Lobster or Olive Garden, a chain that everyone has one. I'd like us to get a menu from a diner that we DONT have access to. A local BBQ joint is fine, or any place that is local to your area. Of course ethnic restaurants are great too.
