Do you all love glitter paper as much as me? Honestly, it's like heaven's stardust! I love it even though, lots of times, it smells funny! (do you know what I mean here?) Anyway....I am pretty excited because I just got home from Michaels with an ENTIRE PAD of glitter papers. Some really pretty ones and others I might not choose, but hey--they have glitter, ok? I always joke with my family that the two hallmarks (haha) of an excellent greeting card are: 1) the card is pink or has pink ON it, and 2) glitter. Needless to say, I receive VERY FEW non-pink, non-glittery cards. My idea is not a new one--in fact I am sort of borrowing the idea from others! Let's send 12 sheets of glitter paper, each measuring no less than 4.5"x5.5", to two partners, for a total of 24 sheets in all. This is wonderful greeting card size, and saves us from the glue and glitter nightmare. Hubby says that glitter is the equivalent of bunny rabbits in the craft world--you start out with just a sprinkle and then, suddenly, it's EVERYWHERE. Requirements are: 12 sheets of glitter paper to 2 partners paper must measure no less than 4.5"x5.5" Everyone is welcome to join in the fun....just be responsible! If you sign up, take it seriously and mail on time....your responsible actions make swap-bot a nicer place for everyone! |
