Spring is definitely coming to the Pacific Northwest! The daffodil & crocus bulb stems are coming up out the ground, the birds are chirping, and it’s still light out at 5PM when I leave work for home! For this swap, you will create a flowery card for your partner and send it in a flowery envelope. This should help brighten up all our mailboxes! Card Details – Please add one or more flowers to your card, using any technique you choose (rubberstamps, watercolor, color flower images, punched flowers, die cuts, paper flowers, etc.) The card doesn’t have to be 100% flowers; you could add other things to it if you want. Envelope Details – Please decorate your envelope with flowers. You can make your own envelope (using decorative paper, a calendar page, magazine page, etc. – if using a magazine page, you may want to adhere it to a piece of copy paper to make it sturdy for mailing), or you could stamp or draw flowers on a plain envelope, etc. You could even add some flower stickers. The idea is to make the envelope “stand out†from all the bills & junk mail. Please don’t just slap a sticker on a piece of paper and call the card done. Please send something you would love to receive. This is a card that you will send to your partner; not for them to send, but for them to receive and enjoy. Please write a short (or long) message inside. |
