Who doesn't love something vintage? For this swap we will be making one Vintage Button Fairy and sending it to one partner.

The face/body must be a vintage image. This image you may get from the internet, from a vintage magazine, or even from a vintage pattern. It is up to you what you use and where you get this image as long as it is a vintage image. Lets try and shoot for 1970s and before.

The wings must be vintage as well. The wings can be made out of old book pages, old sheet music or any other type of ephemera.

Whatever you choose to use, make sure that they make a beautiful vintage button fairy! The options are really endless! If anyone needs a boost of inspiration, I have all sorts of ideas for this swap.

When making your button fairy remember to make it thick, so that it will not fall apart while being shipped, possibly internationally, make sure it has a back to it, it must have a hanger and also a tail with enough buttons on it.

To ship: please use a bubble envie! Also, if possible, it is always a good thing to add a little extra padding or shield such as tissue paper and/or a cereal box on both sides to protect it. No one wants a broken button fairy!

Be creative, have fun, and send a button fairy that you would love to receive. This should be a fun swap and I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with! I will put two weeks on this to get it put together and shipped out but if anyone feels that more time is necessary, let me know. I will check this page daily so if you have questions, please ask!

You must have a 4.9 and up to participate but if you have a recent unfair rating, just let me know about it if you are interested in this swap. I shouldn't have to worry about that since you are all so great!
