This will be a much more intensive journal swap then most, so please read everything before joining. If you do not meet the requirements of the swap, it is not my job to PM you and ask why you signed up... I will simply ban you. If you are a long time swapper and somehow don't meet the requirements but you think I would probably let you join, then PM me please :) Thank you. This swap is regional (US only). I apologize, as shipping will most likely be expensive and I am suggesting that everyone get delivery confirmation. The requirements to join are:
If you appear to have a lot of dissatisfied swap partners, please don't sign up... VERY VERY few exceptions will be made.... This will be very time intensive and angeling would be a real pain in the neck! :) OK, now for the good part :) This swap is for a special journal... A Book of Treasures... The book itself should be at least 8 inches x 8 inches. (doesn't mean it has to be square) You can store buy or handmake it. The outside should look very special... like something you would see and be dying to open :) The journal will have a minimum of 20 pages with treasures (you can include more pages and/or treasures if you want). You can attach the treasures into the book however you see fit... pockets, envelopes, fold-outs, tied in, etc. At least 15 of the treasures have to be removable items. The other 5 CAN be (but don't HAVE to be) permanently part of the book, like pop-ups, fold-outs, spinners, etc. The pages of the journal should be decorated and fun/beautiful/interesting to look at... You aren't just glueing a bunch of envelopes in a blank book and filling them! What IS a treasure, you ask? A treasure is any little surprise that you can somehow manage to stick into the book- tags, recipes, letter sets, notecards, postcards, bookmarks, cds, dvds, atcs, picture frames, zentangles, envies full of supplies (like ribbons, eyelets, beads, atc blanks, etc), coupons for something free, patterned paper. You should try to include a variety of things! Everything is sender's choice, but if you are stumped for ideas, look at your partners profile. Please send on time! Rate promptly! And rate fairly!!!! Oh yeah and thanks to my co-host (haha) @LadyStephanie who helped formulate this swap :) |
