This swap is for all you USA swappers who are world travelers:) If you have visited a country outside of the US, whether recently or long ago, and can send the following, please join and share your travel experiences!

For this swap, you will send your partner:
~1 store bought OR homemade picture postcard from the country you visited
~1 photograph taken either by you or of you in the country you visited; the photo should be printed on photo-lab quality paper, at least 4x6 inches, color or b&w acceptable (if you make your own postcard from a photograph for the previous portion of this swap, please include a separate photo for this portion)
~1 letter, typed or handwritten but it must be neat and legible, telling your partner about the country you visited. The letter should be at least a couple of paragraphs long, don't just write "I loved it!" Share your impressions, what you enjoyed, what you didn't, the foods, the people, the sites, really give a feel for what you experienced! Who knows, you may convince someone to make the country you visited their next destination! :)

PM me with any questions and Happy Swapping!

I have traveled extensively but I did not purchase postcards to keep -- only to send to family and friends. I cannot fulfill that part of the swap requirements although I have lots of photos and for some swaps I make PC out of copies of my photos. I don't want to join and ruin my swap record by getting a 3 from some type-A swapper for not strictly following the swap instructions. I'm sorry that's a rule because I LOVE to write to people about interesting places I've seen.

June, you raise a valid point and I realize others may have the same issue (not having storebought postcards from the place they traveled to). So I've edited the swap description slightly to include homemade picture postcards for that portion of the swap. I hope you'll reconsider joining! And thanks for your input:)
