Borrowed from candy star's international version Post-Secret is an... organization, I guess, that allows you to send in a postcard with your secret on it. They publish these secrets in books and online (their website is http://postsecret.blogspot.com/) but the point is to let go of a secret. The rules, according to their website: Each secret can be a hope, regret, funny experience, unseen kindness, fantasy, belief, fear, betrayal, erotic desire, confession, or childhood humiliation. Reveal anything - as long as it is true and you have never shared it with anyone before. Create or buy your 4-by-6-inch postcards out of any mailable material (unless your using store bought). If you want to share two or more secrets, use multiple postcards. Put your complete secret and image on one side of the postcard. Tips: -Be brief - the fewer words used the better. -Be legible - use big, clear and bold lettering. -Be creative - let the postcard be your canvas. You will mail two secrets - one to each partner. They can be the same secret, or different secrets. Again, these can be deep and emotional, or funny secrets, or anything. Please make sure to send your partner a message when you receive their card - some of these might be very important to the person, and it would be nice to get a response back. On the side of the card with the address, you can write maybe a story of what it feels like to be letting go, or just put your username... you don't HAVE to put anything on this side besides their address and your username. THe SECREt goes on the "art" side of the card. You can be as elaborate as you want, or you could just write it, doesn't matter. Newbies not welcome, sorry. I don't want this swap to be compromised by flakers. Ratings of 4.6 or higher welcome, no less please. |
