Check out this page to see the interesting days we can celebrate together in June. The original idea for this swap was from @craftygirl who hosts something similar monthly in the open swap forum. She has kindly given us permission to use and alter it. :) Choose at least 3 of the unique holidays listed at the above site, and figure out something to send your partner to help celebrate those days. Feel free to send more than three items, but you must send a minimum of three. You may choose DAYS or your gift may represent the WEEK or MONTH holidays (you will understand when you see the site) At least one of the items must be "literary" in nature. It does not necessarily need to be a book (although it could be... we all love them!), but something related to books...book plates, a bookmark, pages from a dictionary (if your partner likes to craft with them), even a journal, etc. Your gifts cannot ALL be one category, such as all stickers or all cards... and while one item could potentially apply to more than one day, each item must represent only one holiday in your final tally. No minimum cost on here. It may cost you very little, or you might want to spend more. Things can be handcrafted or purchased. But it WILL take thought and organization on your part to make it special. The key is make it a package you would love to receive, something that will really make your partner smile. So... one partner, one package. For a five rating: at least 3 items which represent three unique holidays. (at least one of those will be somehow book-related)... And don't forget to include a little note telling why you chose each item (what day they represent), the swap name, and your swap-bot ID. Got it? |
