Description: | |
For this swap you will be (3)three 6x6s for three different partners. This swap is to help us explore the use of Altars in our lifes. Scholastically Altars are defined as: noun: an elevated place or structure, as a mound or platform, at which religious rites are performed or on which sacrifices are offered to gods, ancestors, etc. To me an altar is a sacred place of spiritual communion for myself and those involved to celebrate, offer, pray, and meditate on those things which bring me closer to the spiritual energies I am aware of in my life. It is a site of energy and flow for those spirits to enter and revel here on this place. And it is and can be a highly personal area, as well as a place for congregation of like minded souls. what I would like to see happen in this swap, is for you to take pictures of your personal altar, whether that is a place in nature you choose to commune with spirit or a sacred plce you have set up in your home. I personally have over (5) five different active altars in my home. Use these pictures to set up and decorate a 6x6 altar page, and include on it, on the back, or on the front a description of your altar and how you use it and how often. Give your partner a bit of insight into how yu spend your time when interacting with your altars. Be sure to leave that 1/4 inch page border to allow room for when we atach our collection of 6x6 pages in the future. |
