For this swap you will be creating a Zentangle doll bookmark for TWO partners. (this has been edited from three) Here is the website and gallery page of Zentangles' creators. ![http://www.zentangle.com/gallery-maria.php] Take a look, or Google zentangles. The diversity of interpretations is enormous. You can see that there is a wide range of creatvity to be applied here. I don't care if you choose to do your zentangles in color, but that is NOT required as most zentangles are black and white. Your zentangle doll should be made on plain white, cream, or tan cardstock. Just remember to do your best! This will be an unjointed doll. It can be a male, female, or gender neutral. You can draw your own original doll, or you can use an existing blank doll template. Fill in the doll's shape with your zentangle designs, photo copy it two times, then cut out and mount each one on stiffer backing to make the two bookmarks. Then, you should embellish the dolls n some way by adding some hair or fibers of some kind. Remember that this is going in a book, so when you add embellies, make them book-able. The length should be somewhere between six to nine inches long. Again, "book-able!" No additional clothing or face is needed for this doll, but if you wish for it to look as if it has clothing or a face, you can zentangle it in as part of the design. Again, clothing is NOT a requirement. (Be tasteful here! This is not a naughty swap!) Requirements: Group member in good standing. No unexplained three ratings. One bookmark to each of two partners. |
