For this swap you will get one partner, and send them one Artist Trading Card - ATC - you create for them based on a "geekery" of their choice. (You can send more than one if you want but the only requirement of this swap is to send ONE atc on a geekery of their choice.) Please comment below with a list of 10-12 geekery choices. Your partner will get to pick one from your list. Try to provide a fairly wide selection in your choices so your partner has enough to choose from.

NOTE!!!: double-space your list or it will all end up on one line/paragraph.

ATCs must be standard 3.5" x 2.5" size and sturdy. (That's 89mm x 63.5mm for those using metric.) All media welcome; paint, draw, collage, whatever. :) Just do your very best work, this is gonna be the prize of some one's collection! Stickers are fine, there are some GREAT geeky stickers out there, just be creative with it. A single sticker or two placed haphazardly is not ok. Several stickers layed out with thought and care to create an engaging scene is fine. Swap is International, please be prepared to mail overseas - for a small swap of an ATC this is usually not a big deal.

The nitty-gritty! I will go thru the list right before assigning partners and drop anyone who is rated less than a 4.8 and / or has late swaps on their list of current swaps. Don't flake or you will be eaten by a grue (or a gelatinous blob, your choice.) If you DO get flaked on, contact me and I will angel, as well as contact @wunderland to let her know about it.

What do I mean by geekery? Anything you're geeky about, really! Some possible categories include:

  • TV shows for example: Star Trek, Firefly, Babylon 5, Futurama, Big Bang Theory, Monty Python, Eureka, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, James Burke's Connections, Mythbusters, etc
  • Cartoons, old or new for example: Spongebob Squarepants, Jem and the Holograms, The Tick, Darkwing Duck, Rainbow Brite, Invader Zim, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, etc
  • Movies for example: Star Wars, Princess Bride, Fanboys, Office Space, Back to the Future, Labyrinth, The Gamers, Bill & Ted, etc.
  • Books for example: Game of Thrones, MYTH series, Harry Potter, Ender's Game, A Wrinkle in Time, Thursday Next series, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Lord of the Rings, etc.
  • Web Comics for example: Diesel Sweeties, Penny Arcade, Order of the Stick, etc.
  • Video games for example: Mario Bros, Zelda, Pokemon, Zork, Monkey Island, Plants Vs. Zombies, etc
  • Specific characters from any of the above :)
  • Non-video gaming for example: Dungeons & Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, Munchkin, Settlers of Catan, Scrabble, etc.
  • Areas of science/knowledge for example: mathematics, astronomy, biology, chemistry, computer science, grammar, etc.
  • Musicians/bands for example: Jonathon Coulton, Paul & Storm, MC Frontalot, They Might Be Giants, etc.
  • Scientists and other geeky historical greats for example: Charles Darwin, Isaac Newton, Marie Curie, Einstein, Pythagoras, Anne Bonny, Mary Shelley, etc.
  • Modern geeky people for example: Wil Wheaton, Gary Gygax, Eddie Izzard, Stephan Hawking, etc
  • Geeky humanoids for example: pirates, ninjas, zombies, aliens, robots, vampires, elves, wizards, etc.

WHEW! I COULD GO ON AND ON... but I think you get the idea. :) Don't feel limited to this list, go nuts with it. Get your geek on!
