Description: | |
Here is our decorated envelope swap for May. This month I have chosen the theme of "bird song" which you may interpret any way you like. I chose this theme because as many of you know airports in the UK and across Europe where closed for days because of the volcanic ash cloud in our skies recently. I live quite close to Gatwick airport and there was a lot of talk about being able to hear bird song at the airport instead of jet engines, one teacher at my school even showed a video he had made about it in assembly! I am lucky that where I live I can always hear beautiful bird song but it did make me think about how lucky I am so I decided that it would make a fun theme for this months swaps. For this swap we will send one decorated envelope each to two partners. You may decorate the envelope anyway you like but please remember that it has to survive being sent through the mail. Please also put something nice inside the envelope for your partner, what this is is up to you, it could be a card or letter, a few craft supplies, an ATC, some tea bags, anything which you think your partner will like and which will fit in side a small flat envelope. I hope you all have fun crafting and swapping, Kathie. |
