Make a 32 ct matchbox that will appeal to the child in all of us! Please use high-quality scrapbooking or card making stickers as embellishements ONLY and for this swap, no computer generated images. I have been very disappointed by the look of badly printed images lately. (If you print it so well that your partner can't tell it is comp-gen then you can't get rated poorly for it can you? wink wink). Please check your partner's profile and avoid anything they do not like, other than that, it is sender's choice. It is expected that you make a box that you are proud of and your partner will love. Please be sure to protect your matchbox well for transit. I cut a strip of heavy boxboard/chipboard about 9" long and as wide as my box is high (with embellishments). I wrap this around my box, folding the corners as I go and then staple it. This does a pretty good job but I also trace the wrap onto the same boxboard twice making a bottom and a lid for my makeshift box. I add bubble wrap inside if there is a gap and mail in an ordinary envelope. This saves on shipping because it isn't very thick (for Canadians, it then can be mailed as a light packet, much cheaper than a small packet). Please have a 4.9+ rating to join and no 1's EVER or 3's in the last 6 months. I will accept explanations of course, PM me. Newbies are welcome with WELL FILLED out profiles and MUST PM me at least 3 days before the end of the swap to show good intentions. If you see a flaker has joined, don't worry, I will weed them out though there shouldn't be any on here. |
