If you participated in the first here's your chance to continue on and perhaps get a partner with a new perspective/advice. If you didn't here's your chance to start. :) The point of the Writing Diet is instead of sleep walking through life not paying attention to what you're doing, writing it down forces you to pay attention and then sharing that journal with your partner gives them the opportunity to notice things you did not and perhaps give you some good advice. Get or make yourself a journal. Size doesn't matter, if pocket size works for you because or it's portability use that, if you need something bigger use that. Just make sure you can fit 30 days worth of info in it. Write your email/contact info as well as a bit about yourself on the first page. Every day for the month of june, in your journal write what you ate all day, at what time, if you ate something bad was there a reason (temptation, boredom, comfort food etc) and what type of healthy activities did you do (ex.go for a walk, bike, chores etc) and any unhealthy activities ( ex.I watched t.v. instead of doing chores. If you smoke or drink a lot that's a good one to analyse) and give yourself suggestions on how you may avoid that activity in the future (ex.Perhaps there are chores I can do while watching my tv shows.). Send your journal to your partner after may is over. Once you get a journal in the mail please email or write a letter back with any advice or encouragement you can give them based on what you read in their journal (you don't have to do this but it is the nice thing to do). Requirements 4.8 or higher at least 5 non-email swaps completed no resent unexplained 1's |
