I have seen and done various Alphabet swaps and enjoyed them. But, although I appreciate all the different techniques people use, I would like a complete alphabet set in one style/technique. I am leaving a long 'work' time so you can make this an ongoing summer project like me if you want! For this swap make 27 ATCs for one partner. That's the alphabet and a 'title' card to go with it. My thought for 27 is that they could be displayed in three 3x3 baseball card pages nicely that way. Any technique/theme is fine - for example a monochromatic alphabet (each card all one color), a zentangle set, a food theme set, a collage alphabet set, a watercolor alphabet, an animal alphabet set, a digital photo set, etc. Just be sure to put your best effort into the cards. Make a set you hate to give away - but do! Please check the comments below to see if your partner REALLY doesn't want something - ie. religious themed. It would be nice for you to check your partner's profile for dislikes and favs right after they are assigned. Many swap-botters have favorite colors in their profile. A blue alphabet set for a lover of blue would be cool! A music themed set for a music lover would be great. Checking your partners profile might give you just the inspiration you need to get started. Since we are trading 27 cards at one time I will not be able to angel - so if you aren't sure you can follow through - this isn't the swap for you! Standard size ATC's 2.5 x 3.5. If you choose to make the ATCs in the shape of the letters that would be cool, too - just make sure they are still appx 2.5x3.5. Leave me any questions you have here in the comments so everyone can read them! Happy Alphabetting! |
