Attention joiners: I slightly changed question #49 and added 1 small requirement - to use real postage stamps when sending. Thanks for joining!!

wolffepsyche 06/ 5/2010 #

I'm watching for now because of the actual stamps requirement. My post office is very busy and if I get an international partner, it might mean an hour at the post office (waiting in line to have package weighed, getting out of line to put stamps on and then waiting in line again to give it to the postman because it requires a customs form). With a 2 year old even a 10 minute trip is rough.

I don't mind putting a few actual stamps on the package if the bulk of the postage can be metered. It that's an option I'm in for sure.

iLoveMail 06/ 6/2010 #

That sounds fine @wolffepsyche

We'd love to have you in!

iLoveMail 06/ 7/2010 #

FYI - question #20 was changed & #32 was adjusted! No more changes, promise!

Jacquisking 06/ 7/2010 #

I just did the email version of this but thought i'd sign up for this one too :) and i like these questions better since more of them ive never been asked and i had previously done the last one on facebook :)

iLoveMail 06/ 8/2010 #

Thanks for signing up, @Jacquisking !

amuhleisen 06/ 9/2010 #

I'm going to get started tonight!

iLoveMail 06/10/2010 #

Lots of watchers...so I'm going to extend the sign-up date a little. Since its not partner/profile specific, we can get started anytime! Thanks for joining!!

Jacquisking 06/10/2010 #

wow these are taking a long time to write out lol i hate my handwriting and i cant spell. sorry whoever my partner is lol

iLoveMail 06/11/2010 #

Your effort is appreciated, @Jacquisking !

bruxbaby 06/12/2010 #

I would join in, but I just answered these questions. It would be peak my interest if the questions were different. It would make it more fun for me.

iLoveMail 06/12/2010 #

Actually, @bruxbaby I changed several of the questions from the e-mail swap!

(Joiners please note small addition to #54. Thanks!)

ctyankee 06/13/2010 #

I was just reviewing this swap. It didn't occur to me to get started early! But here's a question -- why would a letter require a customs form? And how heavy can the answers to 63 questions make the envelope? (Maybe I'll find out!)

nickers76 06/13/2010 #

Am looking forward to this swap, my first swap that doesnt involve crafting or postcards......am very excited.

50DaysOfSummer 06/15/2010 #

Do I have to answer them in order and number them, or can I also weave them all into a letter?! That would be (for me) more fun than listing numbers :)

TerryF 06/15/2010 #

The problem there is it would be a lot of work for your partner to check that you had answered all 63 questions - not sure I would want to have to do that. (";)

TerryF 06/15/2010 #

Here in Canada, as long as a letter is 30 grams or less, it just takes a regular stamp. There would be no need to add a customs form. But mayber she wants to add extras with the letter...

I would like to join but cannot handwrite something this long as I have subnormal vision. Well, I could write it, but you might not be able to read it! lol Hope that is ok with my partner.

nickers76 06/15/2010 #

Hope my partner is ready for a THICK letter, 20 pages of note size paper and question 25!!!!!!!

rubyhousesliprs 06/15/2010 #

Iwanted to join but have arthritis, and while I could probably copy, paste and print the questions and handwrite the answers, I wouldn't be able to do all that writing without having some serious pain in my hand. Maybe you'll do one that way some other time?

TragicThreshold 06/15/2010 #

I just signed up and finished writing only to realize that its the last day. What happens if I don't get a partner? I still want to mail out my answers because I spent so long on them...any suggestions?

iLoveMail 06/15/2010 #

@50DaysOfSummer - I don't mind if you weave it into a letter, as long as your partner doesn't mind :) You can join,

@shabbypink123 just PM your partner once they're assigned to let them know why.

@TragicThreshold - please read the PM I sent you. I appreciate your interest, but your profile needs to be filled out some more before you can join. (Or before I can assign partners.) Thanks!

TragicThreshold 06/15/2010 #

Hey- I can't figure out how to send you a PM. I filled out some more of my profile and I already hand wrote all 63 answers. I don't know why I can't be in the swap but I would really love to be a part of it. Please let me know what I can do to be let in...I am new at this. Thanks so much for your help!!! - The Tragic Threshold

iLoveMail 06/15/2010 #

Okay, we're going in to the last hour to join the swap. I have PM'd all newbies without filled-out profiles asking them to do so to remain in the swap. I'll be checking again before assigning partners. The requirements are not difficult in order to join this swap, but you MUST HAVE A FILLED OUT PROFILE!!! Please let me know if there are any problems once partners are assigned.

Thank you to everyone who has joined :) We're the 3rd top swap!!

TragicThreshold 06/16/2010 #

I feel like such an idiot. I don't know how to get the address of my partner. Can anyone help me?

Psychopixie 06/16/2010 #

look on the right side of this page and in the yellow box, click on See the Partners You Send to.

iLoveMail 06/16/2010 #

Thanks, @Psychopixie :)

nalfavi 06/18/2010 #

Wow, my letter's turning into a small book :) Having a lot of fun filling it out though! It seems my answers are getting longer with each question too xD My partner is definitely going to have a bit to read :)
