This is an international swap. Newbies are welcome, but anyone with unexplained no-sends will be banned. This swap is very simple - send your partner a set of paper dolls! They can be handmade, purchased, or printed out. I want this swap to be open to people of all income levels, so I'm not putting a money value on it. However, to keep things equal, if you don't have the skills to draw dollies, and if you can't afford to buy them, print out a nice set (or even two) on high quality paper, and find some really special ones. Everyone will have one partner. One set of paper dolls in full color, in good condition, on good quality paper should receive a 5. For hearts, include more dollies, hand-drawn clothes for your non-hand-drawn dollies, or a story about your dollies. Then, we will all have a paper doll that we can call our own. http://youtube.com/watch?v=bvwJnJ0MHYg CLARIFICATION: I apologize, a "set" of paper dolls isn't exactly a standard unit of measurement, is it? One doll + clothes = set. How many clothes? I don't want to make a hard and fast number, because if someone hand-draws one really intricate and beautiful outfit, that's equivalent to purchasing something like this: http://store.doverpublications.com/0486441229.html (This kind of Dover publications was what I was thinking of when I said "set.") Let's say unless you are drawing something really spectacular, your doll needs to have at least three totally separate outfits. |
