When I Was Born........

After filling my beast up with gas and shaking my head at the cost I came home and started web surfing as to what it was per gallon when I was born (it was .31 cents in my case by the way). What was the price of a gallon of gas the year you were born? A house? What hot car was rolling off the assembly line? Who was president? What was going on in the world? The number one song? Movie? Whose art was making art world headlines?

This swap is for an ATC regarding what was going on the year you were born. Any topic is free game. Get creative. The web is full of information - Google is your friend! If you choose art, it can be done in the artists style or reproduce one of theirs. You can choose to put several items representing "your year".

ATC must have an element that is entirely originally made by you. This could be hand-drawn, hand-painted, sewn, or a mixed media piece involving different papers, ephemera, AND paint/inks. Scrapbook style (anything using more than 10 percent scrapbooking type materials and ATCs that do not have an original art element as described above) is not permitted in this swap.
