U.S, Canada, and International I make these for myself from old business cards and glossy magazine pages. Cheap, recycled, and nice little reminders for everyone to carry around. I keep mine in a business card holder by my computer, but a pocket carry case would be nice too. (decorated Altoid tin maybe?) SWAP REQUIREMENTS You will have one partner to make 10 word cards (in English), and mail by the send date. Send late, and you haven't met the swap requirements. You can use the backs of old business cards or cut business card size pieces from cardstock. Just grab a business card and trace around it. They need to be business card size so they can fit in standard card holders. 3 1/2 x 2 inches. The cards should be decorated with a background or picture cut from the magazine and a word or phrase. Spruce it up with rubber stamps and stickers if you like, just as long as the main message comes from magazine pages. The idea here is to give old magazines a new life, so no computer printed out words. Words like relax, create, inspire, laugh, quiet, can all be found in nearly every magazine! Some magazines such as Oprah might have quotes that are small enough to put on the card. Please be generous with your partner and try to make her day with something thoughtful and well made! This isn't profile specific, but read your partner's profiles for ideas and target goals. If you have an area you might need nudging in then list it below so your partner can keep an eye out for related words. Swapper requirements: Open to newbies and swappers in good standing with ratings above 4.8. No 1's for no-sends unless you contact me with a reasonable explanation. Please, if you don't really have the time, you've already signed up for a bunch of swaps, or lack the time/skills/supplies to make such an item, don't sign up. I will check before assigning partners and ban anyone who has slipped in ratings or is posting on their profile that they will late in sending for any reason. I reserve the right to drop people who either don't meet the requirements, appear to not be following swap-bots rules, or appear to be in some way a problem to other swappers. |
