Anyone collect pins/brooches? If so then this swap is for you.

A lot of people collect new ones, some like vintage, avon ones, sarah coventry, handmade one....it doesn't matter what kind..

You will have one partner and send them 1 brooch/pin. If you want you can send more, but the requirement is only 1.

You must have a rating of 4.6. No unexplainable 1's or 3's. And no flakers.

So who wants in this one?

Store bought only?

I've made nice crocheted flowers, cloth yo-yo ones with neat buttons, & some with the bloom loom. Maybe the partner could just give hints as to what types of brooches they love???

I absolutely love rhinestone brooches--the more sparkle the better--they can be handmade or cheap-thrift shop-bought as long as they sparkle a lot! I like the clear "diamond " ones best, but colored stones are fine, too.

If they are small (3/4"-1.5"), I may actually wear one, but the large ones I display on a wide ribbon on my studio wall to look at every day!

Sounds brilliant. I love vintage and sparkly ones (rather than homemade, sorry, but I have received some awful ones!!!)

This is great! I've had an Etsy shop for a few months, selling hand-felted brooches and other jewellry. What I've really been dreaming of though, is a hand-made brooch-swapping revolution! Instead of ATCs I've been imagining a collection of ATB(rooch)s in all different mediums pinned to some heavy fabric draped on my wall! Glorious! Anyway, that's where Swap-bot comes in. Last week, I finally reached hosting status, so once I've hosted several simpler swaps, I plan to start a series of ATB swaps. In the meantime, this is perfect!!! Thanks! I have my brooches pinned to strips of that rubbery stuff you line shelves with, and they make placemats from--it's easy to clean, I can run the whole thing under water to rinse off dust, then they air dry quickly with a hair dryer set on low or just hanging in front of the fan.

I love felted pins and vintage rhinestone pins (like the one in the photo). I personally do needle felted flower pins and scour thrift shops and antique stores for cool vintage stuff so that is most likely what I would send.

I would really like it if my partner posts a comment about preferences, as I would like to send something she is likely to want. Personally, I love small and sparkly, but I also like getting handmade items -- just nothing yellow, as I would probably never wear it! Thanks.

I am not that into sparkle or neon but I love cute/vintage stuff and loads of other things :D
