I decided to modify my scrap paper soup swaps to allow people to pick the color combinations they are interested in. This third one will be for brown, black, and metallic (gold/silver/bronze/copper) scraps. They can be all brown, all black, all metallic or a combination of any of the colors. They can also have other colors on them, but the majority should be brown, black and metallic. What I mean by scraps are the ones I know we all have – the bits & pieces left over from our various art projects. You know, the ones you just can’t bear to throw away, thinking they’ll be good for something in the future (smile). However, the thing with me is that I forget to use them and instead cut what I need from a bigger piece, and then I end up with even more scraps. A vicious cycle it is… You will send each of your 2 partners at least 20 different brown, black, and metallic scraps. They can be cardstock, textured paper, decorative paper, handmade paper, scrapbook paper, etc. Please do not send: magazine pages, book pages, calendar pages, newspaper, plain copier-type paper, or plastic material. Minimum scrap size: ½" x 2â€; Maximum scrap size: your choice Please also include an ATC, postcard, or greeting card made by you, using brown, black & metallic scraps. (Other colors and/or embellishments may be added). This will be a card for your partner to enjoy. Write a short (or long) note inside for your partner. This is an easy swap and it’s open to everyone, as long as you have a well-filled out profile. If you sign up, please follow through and send your swap. No one likes flakers – please play nice! Here are a few ideas for using scraps:
