Description:

Do you love ATCs?

Do you love fabric, sewing and embellishments? (Must be able to sew by hand or machine.)

Then this is the swap for you!

1) Make 1 fabric ATC to send to each partner (a total of 2 ATCs).

2) Fabric ATCs are 2 ½ X 3 ½ inches, include a piece of fabric, one sided fusible batting, and a cardstock backing. You may also use a stiff fusible, a fabric backing and write on it with permanent fabric marker.

3) Fabric ATCs are hand or machine sewn (patchwork, appliqué, thread painting, embroidery, beadwork, buttons, charms, ... embellish them to your heart’s content or not).

4) Be sure to write the following on the back, the name and number of the ATC, date made, artist name and location (e.g. Cat #1, May 2010, Sassy Susie, Stanton, South Dakota).

5) This MONTHLY SWAP is the sender’s choice, NO THEMES, but looking at your partners’ profiles to see what they have a passion for is advised. Enjoy letting your creative juices flow!

6) Be sure to include a note with the name of this swap and your Swap-bot ID.

Participant Screening:

Must be able to sew by hand or machine.

Must have a fully completed profile (not just a few lines).

Must have completed 5 swaps, have a 4.8+ status and no unexplained 1 or 3’s.

I will list all flakes and will angel, but I trust that won’t be necessary.

Ratings:

We’d all like to do a swapper’s dance of joy when we open our envies/packages, but remember ratings are based on meeting the swap's requirements. Surpassing the swap requirements is a sign of generous swappers who take pride in their creativity, by enclosing an extra ATC and/or a small surprise. Pretty packing and postal presentation is also enjoyable. Be sure to rate your partner as soon as you receive the swap. Happy Swapping!

Hostess's Monthly Message - Hey there artists! Keep that creative fiber art a comin'. We have built a great group of swappers and new friends are always welcome. However, I have had to make it extra clear that the making of a fabric ATC does include sewing. Try introducing friends to this enjoyable craft. Please create & send on time. You might want to honour your partners by posting photos of their beautiful work on your flickr photostreams or blogs. If you have any concerns feel free to contact me. Happy Swapping!

Does anyone now why the gallery slideshow does not work?

I haven't any idea and I really don't know how to make it work. If any one does and can explain I'd be glad to try and fix it.

Well, gals another great round of fabric ATC swapping. Everyone got out their ATCs, and only a few were a wee bit late, but I know those who ran late told their partners and partners checked the view participants button to see if they were sent. Thanks again for participating in and enjoying our Fabric ATC #4 swap. Keep making those beautiful Fabric works of art. I look forward to our September swap. Cheers, Le Papillon Vert
