Raise your hand if you like chocolate!!

Oh wow, so many of you raised your hands that I think we're going to have to do a CHOCLOATE SWAP! Everybody wave your hands in the air!

(Wave hands now.)

Okay, seriously, I've enjoyed so many international chocolate swaps that I thought it was time to create my own. Everyone will get one partner to send to, and everyone should send about $15 of chocolate. If you have a chocolate preference, please leave a comment below or put it in your profile. No one under 4.5, and no no-sends, please. I'll be checking, just in case!

Oh I looove chocolate but it will melt in the heat of South Florida. :( I can't wait for winter so we can do chocolate swaps again!

aidenromantic 07/27/2010 #

Yeah i can't join this, too hot here in Virginia (was 107 the other day). I wish it was winter!

saralizzy1981 07/27/2010 #

Wow, that's HOT! It only gets 90 tops here in Washington State...

pahasiga 07/28/2010 #

Well, it is too hot for chocolate in August even here...

I love chocolate but a rating as low as 4.5 is too much of a risk on a swap that is $15 before postage. To post internationally it would cost in excess of $20 from Australia for that much weight so for a swap thats going to cost me a minimum of $35 I wouldn't be confident in not getting flaked on with ratings as low as 4.5 :(

It would melt here. Was 105 yesterday. Also that's a lot of chocolate and a lot of money to invest. I'm concerned. I've been getting flaked on lately.

I think this is why no one is joining. I too, love chocolate. But over here in Colorado it's been in the 90's and no one wants a package of just melty goo....

Maybe if you altered this into a 'snack' swap? And if you want chocolate, you could list that as a pref?

witchfire 07/31/2010 #

And also, I think $15 is a bit much, especially if you're not including postage

I'd love to join a cheaper non-meltable candy swap!

patumma 08/ 4/2010 #

i love chocolate from all over count me in!!!

patumma 08/ 4/2010 #

ps i am not a white chocolate fan btw thanks much!

Chelle 08/ 8/2010 #

I love white and milk chocolate, and I love chocolate with crunchy bits in them too.

I don't like dark or bitter chocolate, and I don't like nuts... =)

I will be buying gourmet chocolate from my favorite chocolate store for my partner! And some for myself at the same time. Tee hee... =D

patumma 08/10/2010 #

you sound like me Chelle!!!! I will have a hard time sending and not eating! I am so excited for cool chocolate from somewhere different! I always treat myself when i travel...

ladonnatwinmom 08/11/2010 #

I'm SOOOOOOO tempted but the heat index here in Nebraska was 115 yesterday. Will pass till fall...Please host another soon?

daiisyy 08/11/2010 #

So excited for this! even though the postage will be quite costly it will be worth it :) :)

LilyLestrange 08/11/2010 #

I'd join if it was less money, maybe $10 or even $8?

saralizzy1981 08/12/2010 #

Thanks, everyone, for the comments, I will definitely keep all of this in mind for next time. :)

Is this swap still going? Ive just joined, so how do you go about it if you're not allowed to with no scores?
