I had just participated in a swap by tifffoster called Decorate and Fill a Pringles Can, and I was inspired by her to create a couple of swaps of my own! SWAP DETAILS: Buy a regular, full sized can of Pringles. Eat the chips. Clean the container. Now you’re ready to decorate the can! Make it super spooky and Halloweenie. You can paint it, decoupage it, glue fabric and/or ribbons to it- any way you want! It just has to be obviously Halloween themed. Now you’ve got to fill up your Halloweenified creation with spooky goodies! You can stuff it with decorations, socks, toys, papers, art, crafts supplies, recipes, pumpkin carving stencils, etc. Since there are a LOT of edible Halloween items during the season, I know some people may not want candy/edible/drinkable items at all, and for some maybe that is all they may want. Candy can take up a lot of space in a Pringles can, so it is your partner’s choice of how much candy they want, if any. Everything else is sender's choice, but don't be shy, peek at your partner's profile and see what they like! :) Below, please reply with the following info: Whether or not you want Halloween candy included in your can, and how much if you do. (Ex. You want some candy, but you only want 3 pieces, or you want 1/3 of your can to be candy.) If you don't list a preference then you're giving your partner permission to send any amount of candy they wish to send you, or even no candy at all. (I am only including the candy preference because there is a small space to fill and some swappers may not want a lot of candy taking up most of the space.) List any allergies if you have’em! To send, there are a few options. The way I have done it was wrap my decorated can in a spare plastic bag, wrap that up in brown paper bag-like wrapping paper (you can get it at the Dollar Tree!) and tape it up really well. I have heard of others sending it with the topped taped up well and addressing the can itself, but to me that defeats the point of decorating it, but it is up to you. You can also use a box, or several layers of paper. Just make sure it is sealed well! REQUIREMENTS: • No one with a rating below 4.7 will be allowed to join. • No 1s or 3s in the last six months. • You must have at least 10 completed and rated Type 3 swaps. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!! |
