Description:

Inspired and challenged by a recent candy swap, I thought about swapping edibles that aren't so affected by heat.

For this swap, you will have two partners. You will send each partner a BOX with two or more varieties of fried/baked crispy snacks inside. I call them potato chips in the U.S., but I know they're crisps elsewhere and maybe have other names as well.

Though titled with the word "potato," if you would like, you may send non-potato chips as well- sweet potato, parsnip, carrot, plantain, etc. Personally, I like veggie chips- they're a treat!

This swap is international and I hope we get a mix of nations represented.

PLEASE package well and package in a BOX so the contents are not crushed. Because of the box, the postage might cost more than the contents because the chips themselves are light. I'm not sure, but please keep this in mind when you're thinking about joining.

If you have any flavor dislikes, please post below. Thank you for joining!

Oh, almost forgot to mention, and this is optional- if you have a strange love of chips/crisps, or have a quirky favorite way to eat them, or a recipe using chips/crisps, please include that in a note to your partners.

I love pretty much any flavor except the meat ones (steak chips = ewww). Also, please check to make sure my chips/crisps weren't cooked in lard which is pig fat. Lard = gross, too!

I'd join, but only 10 days between sign up and send? :(

I hope the swap goes well!! :]

Yes, but there's 20 days between now and the send date that you could be thinking about your purchase...

Someone asked about boxes. As long as they are durable enough to withstand mailing and are clean and have never stored toxic substances, I don't see an issue if they are shoeboxes or brand new boxes or what-have-you.

Oh...it was two partners...:( I could only afford one. I had lots of things on my mind for the swap...oh well...maybe someone else will put up a new one later with only one partners...

Enjoy the swap!!! And don't eat it all at once LOL

If anyone starts a new swap like this....with one partner...please let me know!!
