My two favourite kinds of swaps - Candy and Profile Surprise - together at last! INTERNATIONAL - NO NEWBIES For this swap, you will send your partner 3-5 US dollars worth of sweets, and a non-candy surprise based on their profile. By $3-$5, I mean 3 regular-sized chocolate bars or equivalent amount of small candies and chocolates. If you are participating in this swap, please try to write something in your profile that will help people figure out what to send you for the non-candy surprise. Sorry, but no newbies and no swappers with only e-swaps (ie. swaps which only require sending an e-mail to your partner) I will not put a rating requirement for participants - I will decide who can participate on a case-by-case basis. Please remember this is an international swap so postage may be rather expensive. It may pay to research the cheapest way to send since the post office does not always divulge that information voluntarily. I know in the USA there is a flat-rate envelope you can buy which only costs 11 dollars. This is probably the cheapest method for American participants. It is very hot now where I live and I have found that chocolate survives the post surprisingly well. I just store it in the fridge as soon as I get it and it hardens up just fine. If you are concerned about meltage, put your chocolate in a plastic (ie. ziploc) bag before sending. Please post any comments or special requests below. |
