Jennifer, I'm banned from this pc swap, too? First, you ban me from your #14 swap, though I met all your posted requirements. Then you don't answer my email asking why? Now you've banned me from this #15 swap, though once again I meet all your posted requirements? And once again, no reply to my email? What gives? I wondered if it's just a personal grudge, but I see that I'm not one of the 4 swappers that left you a 3 rating. So that's not it. I haven't got a rating from you anywhere in my 3 years worth of ratings, so as far as I can tell, we've never even been in a swap together where I could've dissatisfied you in some way. You really baffle me with your behavior. Still have no explanations for me as to why you ban me from two of your postcard swaps? Have you seen my ratings? See all the postcards I've been sending and been rated on? Where's the problem that I deserve banning? I'm truly curious. Can you give me any reason why you banned me from your last two postcard swaps?

KarlaKC: I don't know you and have no personal grudge against your, but after reviewing your ratings (you have a number of 3s and 1s despite a high overall rating), I would not let you participate in any of my swaps either. While you technically meet this swap's requirements, the swap host also has the right to ban at her discretion. This is to protect the majority of swap participants here and I agree with her decision.

Hi, TerryF! Thank you for your comments and perspective. I can appreciate your concerns from a coordinator's point of view. My main concern with @crochetjunkie as a coordinator is her lack of communication. This is why I wondered if it's just personal, though I don't recall having any personal dealings with her. I can certainly agree that any coordinator at first glance might be concerned with my 4 "3" ratings and 3 "1" ratings. @crochetjunkie has 4 "3" ratings herself, so I would think it must be the 1 ratings, if she has any reason at all. Those 1's are from 3 years ago, I believe, and I responsibly left a comment on each of them at the time, explaining why the 1 is there. In one case, my swap was sent late, but I did send it, noting at the 1 rating site that the recipient had not logged onto swap-bot to update my rating. And she never has logged on since December 2007. The other two swaps were late, but they were packaged and ready to mail but for circumstances beyond my control, I couldn't mail them. I believe one was due to the recipient deleting her account. The other was because my partner's address was not available to me any longer and emails to her were going unanswered. And again, she hasn't logged onto swap-bot since years ago. So if any swapper thinks I'm a bad swapper because of these 3 EXPLAINED "1"s from 3 years ago, that's their perogative. But as a swapper I have ALWAYS sent my swaps, except for the 2 that were attempted but beyond my control to complete 3 years ago. Bottom line is that anyone with a real reason to ban a swapper would say why, just as you have here @TerryF I just figure when @crochetjunkie wants to give me a reason, she will. Otherwise, I guess it'll just be a mystery. ("Twilight Zone" music playing in my head here.)

KarlaKC: I do agree with you that at least an explanation should be provided. While SB rules do not require that a swap host give any reasons for banning, it is the only courteous thing to do. (";)

I have not been rated by one partner - have left a message on her profile offering to re-send but she has not logged on for a few days. Am archiving this for now. (";)
